Blain Clausen, originally from Woodinville, Washington, is a noted photographer whose formidable years were spent hiking, camping and fishing throughout the Pacific Northwest, Canada and the Rockies. It is from these experiences; his love of nature and the outdoors, that the Artist receives his inspiration. For it is in the visual complement of the eye to the lens that has proven to make his works not only majestic, but highly sought-after and collectable. Blain Clausen currently lives in Los Angeles where he has worked in top-tier Music Management for the past 20 years. Working with many of the world’s most famous bands has given him a unique opportunity: and thus allows him to both capture and to present the world through a very unique lens. “One of my true joys in life, as I travel the world with my music clients, is to walk the cities in the middle of the night or early morning when no one is around. The peace & serenity that surrounds you is almost eerie but extremely calming. I can lose myself for hours in thought. And it’s during these times of exploration that I love to bring out my camera to catch a major city in its most singular state. Whether it’s traversing a meadow in search of a pristine mountain lake or trekking an urban landscape at sunrise, Blain Clausen is constantly searching for that photographic treasure….that sense of grandeur & awe that he experienced as a child, and now brings to his Collection and his collectors. When not on the road, Blain likes to spend his time hiking, biking, being out in nature, catching up with friends in Los Angeles or traveling to see family in the Pacific Northwest.
